Quest44

QUEST44 is a dungeon deduction game. As a Guild manager, you choose a party of four from your team and send them down a route. Each party sent let you accumulate the clues you need to find the team that will proceed successfully.

How it plays

You passed the Guild exam. Your first real assignment is the one nobody wants: Quest 44. You have a month, and the Guild’s leftover heroes.

• Pick four. Choose a party from your hand of hero cards and send them down a route.
• Each room lets through only certain heroes. No one tells you which. Finding out is the game.
• When a room stops them, ask a hero. Each hero gives one true clue, in their own way. The Fighter blames whoever stood idle. The Wizard tells you how many heroes to change. The Sorcerer counts the Death wielder the route needs.
• Chart the Dungeon. Routes cross and share rooms, so what one party learns helps the next.
• Mind the interactions. Heroes have opinions about each other, and some refuse to go down together. Keep that in mind when deducing which team will work!

Good. The Sorcerer is irresponsible and we will all get killed.

Rescue the missing adventurers, find out what the quest is about, and choose one of two endings.

• Challenges: puzzles of their own, to practice your deductions.
• Rush Mode and Rush Mode Plus: Replay with the same or different rules in a randomly generated dungeon.
• The Other Side: A harder mode where the heroes have a different identity from an alternate timeline.
